- Job Description:Â Responsible for preparing trailers for loading finished product for shipments and verifying the accuracy of customer orders being shipped.

- Must be self-motivated with the ability to achieve desired objectives.
- Must be licensed, or have the ability to be licensed, in the use of forklifts, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, case pick lifts, and hand jacks.
- Must have basic mathematical skills.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills.

- Physical Requirements:Â

- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. continuously during scheduled shift
- Must be able to tolerate temperatures between 33 degrees and 40 degrees for the duration of scheduled shift.
- Must be able to tolerate a temperature of 0 degrees for up to two hours of scheduled shift.
- Walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and standing required for up to six hours of scheduled shift.
5.  Must weigh less than 375 pounds in order to be able to wear fall protection.

- General Responsibilities:Â

- Remove pallets and wash out trailers before loading.
- Set trailer cooling unit at appropriate temperature.
- Load trailers in an orderly manner as specified, making decisions on stacking combinations for palletized loads.
- Verify shipments for correct product codes and case counts and make appropriate documentation on loading paperwork.
- Make scans to product on inbound and outbounds loads.
- Stretch wrap products for shipment as required.
- Apply shipping labels to products as required.
- Sort usable from non-usable pallets while loading.
- Remove damaged or retained product from inventory.
- Maintain proper cleanliness and FIFO rotation of finished product coolers and other departmental areas.
- Load and unload products for transfer to and from external warehouses. Make appropriate inventory transactions.
- Assist in staging, freezer, and drop zone operations as required.
- Follow all safety rules and procedures.
- Responsible for adhering to all food safety, quality and GMP procedures specific to this position
