What you’ll need to succeed as an Industrial Maintenance Technician II at XPO
Minimum qualifications:
- 5 years of related experience in an industrial maintenance role or equivalent experience in HVAC, Mechanical or Electrical trades.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery.
- Licensed journeyman or above
- Ability to read a caliper, micrometer, and various other measuring instruments.
- Ability to track preventive maintenance schedules.
- Strong time management skills

Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to weld and fabricate.
- Knowledge of record and file keeping
- Computer and Microsoft Office skills including: Excel, Outlook and Word

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex systems and equipment in one or more assigned areas.
- Perform electrical work, run conduit, pull wire, make final connections in electrical panel, motors, disconnects etc.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems in all equipment.
- Plan new installs, order supplies, parts, equipment and materials for projects and programs.
- Respond to emergencies and callouts as required.
- Coordinate and monitor work of Maintenance Specialists and Maintenance Technician 1 to ensure timely and efficient completion of assigned projects.
- Operate specialized equipment and vehicles.
- Demonstrate the Company’s core values and comply with all Company policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Industrial Maintenance Technician IIÂ are required to:
- Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
- Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time in a facility that is not climate-controlled.
- Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel.
