Job Title: Manufacturing Recruiter
Job Description

This 6‑month temp-to-hire Manufacturing Recruiter role supports a mid-size manufacturing organization in South Seattle by leading full-cycle recruiting and onboarding for a wide range of production and skilled roles. You will work 100% onsite, partner closely with hiring leaders, and manage high-volume recruiting while maintaining accurate HR records, supporting benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for manufacturing and related roles, from requisition intake through offer acceptance.
  • Post job openings on various job boards and internal platforms to attract qualified candidates.
  • Use direct sourcing strategies, including tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Propose and implement innovative approaches for candidate sourcing to support high-volume hiring needs.
  • Screen resumes and applications to assess qualifications and fit for specific job openings.
  • Conduct initial screening interviews to evaluate candidate experience, skills, and interest.
  • Schedule and facilitate interviews with hiring managers, ensuring timely communication and a positive candidate experience.
  • Coordinate all communication between candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview process.
  • Order and track background checks and conduct reference verifications for potential hires in accordance with company policies.
  • Prepare new hire paperwork and orientation materials to support an efficient onboarding process.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientations, ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience.
  • Collect and verify new hire documentation, including I-9 forms, tax forms, and other required paperwork.
  • Organize and maintain onboarding materials in both hard copy and electronic formats.
  • Identify, propose, and implement improvements to onboarding procedures to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in electronic HR systems.
  • Process employee information changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment questions and general benefits inquiries.
  • Update benefits records and assist with the distribution of benefits-related materials and communications.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure employees receive accurate and timely benefits information.
  • Support consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Stay informed about relevant labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements and apply them in daily work.
  • Accurately input employee data into the applicant tracking system (ATS), including Ultipro/UKG.
  • Assist in generating HR and recruiting reports and conduct basic data analysis to support decision-making.
  • Represent the organization at job fairs and similar recruiting events as needed.
  • Partner directly with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide updates on recruiting progress.
  • Support high-volume hiring for repetitive production roles, including organizing and filling recurring classes of new hires.
Essential Skills
  • High school diploma, general education degree, or vocational degree.
  • Previous full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience with talent acquisition, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proficiency using applicant tracking systems (ATS), such as Greenhouse or similar systems, and experience with Ultipro/UKG.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously.
  • Professional, motivated, and energetic demeanor when working with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience posting jobs and managing requisitions on job boards and company platforms.
  • Ability to coordinate and schedule interviews efficiently with multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in a manufacturing environment and supporting a wide variety of production and skilled roles.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in construction or manufacturing recruiting is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar direct sourcing tools.
  • Experience participating in or organizing job fairs and other recruiting events.
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting in an agency or internal recruiting environment.
  • Ability to suggest and implement process improvements in recruiting and onboarding.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of open requisitions and diverse skill sets.
Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite in a manufacturing setting in South Seattle, with a standard shift of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The environment can be loud at times and requires resilience and a thick skin when working closely with production teams and handling high-volume hiring. You will have free parking on site and will partner directly with hiring managers, gaining extensive experience recruiting for 30–40 different skill sets and managing recurring production hiring classes of approximately 10 new hires per week. You will work primarily with office-based tools such as Microsoft Office and an ATS (including Ultipro/UKG) while operating within a busy, hands-on manufacturing facility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $38.00/hr.
