About The Position
 We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant specializing in Wound Care for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in Washington. This 28-day assignment, starting on 07/05/2025, offers a flexible schedule with the potential for extension. The provider will work either weekends or two consecutive full-day shifts, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM PST, seeing wound care patients in their homes. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a wide range of wound care treatments, including diabetic foot ulcers, arterial and venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, and various other wound types. This role provides an excellent opportunity for a dedicated wound care specialist to make a significant impact in a home healthcare setting.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive wound care services to patients in their homes
• Treat a variety of wound types, including:
- Diabetic foot ulcers
- Arterial and venous ulcers
- Pressure ulcers
- Trauma and minor burns
- Non-healing surgical wounds
- Complications from radiation
- Compromised grafts or flaps
- Ulcers from infections or medications
• See approximately 8-12 patients per day
• Follow up with patients weekly until discharge
• Utilize Jane App for patient management and documentation
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
• Adapt to home healthcare protocols and procedures
• Ensure patient comfort and satisfaction throughout treatments
