Job Summary:

We are currently seeking highly motivated and self-driven Account Manager (AM). The AM is responsible for using their knowledge of company products to expand the base of accounts, grow sales, and meet customer needs in their respective region. The AM will develop and implement a territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Selling Happy Floors Hard Surface flooring.
  • Increasing business and sales for existing accounts and developing new ones.
  • Weekly travel throughout the territory (up to 4-5 days of overnight travel per month (can change based on territory).
  • Strong and proven ability to sell and close deals on displays, samples and inventory while balancing professional and timely service.
  • Proven ability to foster meaningful, long-term business relationships.
  • Identify and develop nontraditional opportunities for sales.
  • Report to Regional Sales Manager (RSM), who will work closely with you to train and help you to achieve your goals.
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports.
  • CRM/ Repsly adoption to manage territory.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
  • Continuously improve through feedback.

Travel: 50%+ travel required

Requirements

Preferred Previous Experiences:

  • Flooring industry background is preferred
  • Luxury brand and high-end home furnishing experience a plus.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Representative
  • A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience with CRM a plus.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Work Environment:

The work environment will be in showrooms, storage unit, Indoor and outdoor temperatures depending on location weather may be cold, hot, humid, wet, etc.
