What you'll do:
- Provide front-line customer service, including courteous phone coverage and daily quality assurance rounds (odor-free, obstacle-free environment)
- Conduct facility tours for prospective residents, families, and responsible parties
- Review and respond to all referrals across multiple referral sources within 15 minutes of receipt.
- Coordinate resident admissions with internal departments and external healthcare partners
- Build and maintain referral relationships with discharge planners, case managers, and physicians
- Complete admission paperwork and support residents in care planning and decision-making preferences
- Assist with resident orientation in accordance with facility procedures
- Enter and maintain accurate information in EMR and other systems
- Support communication between departments to ensure smooth admissions and transitions
- Complete additional duties as assigned

What we're looking for:
- 1 year of clerical experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
- Strong communication, customer service skills, and empathy
- Proficient with computers, office systems, and related software
- Working knowledge of health insurance processes and systems
- Self-motivated with a willingness to assist across tasks as needed
- Ability to read, write, and understand English, including medical billing terminology
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with medical terminology, billing, and data entry preferred
- May be exposed to bodily fluids and communicable illnesses
- Able to lift, push, or pull 25-50 lbs. unassisted
- Adequate vision and hearing (with or without assistive devices)
