The Commissioning Technician will serve as a valuable member of our team, working on multiple concurrent projects performing building commissioning services for both new construction and existing facilities for commercial, institutional, and educational buildings. The Commissioning Technician will work closely in a team environment on multiple projects but must be able to work independently when required and adhere to schedules.

What You Will Be Doing
- You have the ability to independently create, or review test procedures based on contract Documents, specifically drawings and specifications
- You get to design documentation such as Owner’s Project Requirements
- You must understand industry standards-based best practices
- You get to assist the Commissioning Engineer in preparing checklists for installation verification and functional performance testing of equipment and integrated systems
- Perform field verification of equipment installation and startup, document commissioning issues
- You supervise or witness equipment startups, as needed

What We Are Looking for
- 5-7 years of experience of building commissioning, HVAC, Automatic Temperature Controls, and/or Testing and Balancing
- Strong fundamentals in HVAC, hydronics, automatic temperature controls and renewable energy systems design, installation, and operations
- HVAC: Hands-on experience in testing, start-up and troubleshooting of HVAC systems, including but not limited to cooling towers, chillers, packaged roof top units, ERUs, DOAS, AHUs, VRFs, VFDs, for hospitals, schools, commercial and institutional buildings.
- Electrical (additional): Hands-on experience with equipment such as emergency generators, ATS, UPS, PDUs and power monitoring systems desired
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Travel 50%
