The Senior Talent & Transformation (STT) organization is seeking a senior-level Executive Assistant to provide single-threaded support to a Vice President (VP) leading STT. This is a high-visibility, fast-paced, and strategically critical role for a seasoned professional who operates with high levels of discretion, judgment, and business acumen. You will serve as a trusted partner and force multiplier who enables leadership effectiveness across a complex, global organization with various dependencies with other S-Team leaders.

This is not a traditional administrative role. You will operate as a strategic partner who anticipates needs, drives operational rigor, and ensures the VP’s time and attention are directed toward the highest-impact priorities. You must be comfortable navigating ambiguity, exercising independent judgment, and influencing across all levels of the organization. A strong sense of ownership and the ability to maintain composure under pressure are essential. This role demands speed paired with high judgment and precision, plus the ability to partner credibly across senior stakeholders.

From Day One, this role will focus on keeping the organization’s leader and team organized, informed, and on task. High-level calendar management and scheduling will require exceptional attention to detail, superb time management, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and last-minute escalations while partnering effectively with Executive Assistants throughout the organization to get things done.
This role offers unparalleled exposure to senior leadership decision-making, enterprise-wide people strategy, and the opportunity to shape how Amazon develops its most senior talent and reimagines its operating model for the AI era.

This role requires five (5) days a week in office.

Key job responsibilities
- Judgment & gatekeeping: filtering the leader's time and inbound requests, triaging, and making real-time prioritization calls, including respectfully declining on their behalf.
- Operating rhythm: owning the cadence of leadership mechanisms (staff meetings, business/talent reviews, action tracking), and building strong partnership with the biz ops team to keep it running.
- Executive Partnership: Operate as an extension of the VP’s office, partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional EAs to ensure seamless coordination across the STT leadership team.
- Strategic Calendar Management: Own and optimize the VP’s calendar as a strategic asset — ensuring time allocation reflects business priorities, protecting focus time, and proactively resolving conflicts across multiple time zones and senior stakeholders.
- Travel Coordination: Manage complex domestic and international travel itineraries, optimizing productivity and compliance with Amazon travel policies, and anticipating and resolving disruptions proactively.
- Expense Management: Own expense report coordination and submission, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and policy compliance.
- Meeting & Event Management: Plan and execute leadership offsites, all-hands and all-team meetings, team events, recognition, and cross-organizational forums — managing end-to-end logistics including agendas, venues, catering, AV, and post-event follow-up.
- Deliverable Tracking: Track and help drive completion of key deliverables, following up on overdue items to keep the organization on task.
- EA Partnership & Mentorship: Serve as a lead Executive Assistant for the STT organization, providing guidance, coordination, and best-practice support to EAs across the org, and partnering with Assistants across Amazon.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, stakeholder EAs, and leaders across Amazon, serving as a trusted point of contact for the VP’s organization and external partners.
- Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle highly sensitive people-related information — including executive talent, compensation, and workforce strategy — with the utmost confidentiality.
