Role Overview
The Experience Design Intern will support the creation of a concierge, white glove Candidate to Caregiver experience for Medical Assistants, from interview through the first year of employment. This internship supports a workforce transformation initiative focused on improving onboarding, early experience, and retention.
This role is ideal for a master’s-level student interested in applying human-centered design in healthcare and helping translate experience ideas into simple, scalable digital workflows.
What You’ll Do
Help design the end-to-end Medical Assistant journey from candidate to caregiver
Support research, journey mapping, and synthesis of experience insights
Partner with Talent Acquisition, Operations, HR, and Clinical teams
Assist in translating experience concepts into PowerApps-based workflows with team support
Create clear visuals, documentation, and presentation materials
Support testing and early improvement of experience tools and processes

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree       Â
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or recent graduate in Experience Design, Service Design, UX, Human-Centered Design, Public Health, or related field
- Healthcare industry experience
- Strong interest in workforce or service experiences
- Familiarity with design thinking or service design methods
- Interest in Microsoft PowerApps or Power Platform
- Exposure to healthcare or complex systems (academic or professional)
