Exterior Field Training Supervisor – Full Time

Rate: $29.69/hr

Location: Seattle, WA (Outdoors)

Shift: Saturday-Wednesday (2:00pm-10:45pm)

At Securitas, the Field Training Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the training and development of security personnel. This role involves facilitating facilitating training sessions, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with training requirements. The supervisor will also create training materials and provide coaching to staff, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. 

What Your Day May Look Like

  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to specialists as needed. 
  •  Act to ensure compliance with legally mandated, contractual, and company mandated training. 
  • Confer with managers and supervisors to determine training needs and approaches.
  • Update and develop training curriculum. 
  • Develop training scheduled in conjunction with management. 
  • Follow appropriate instructional procedures and methods for training needs.
  • Organize training manuals, reference library, testing and evaluation materials, visual aids, and other educational materials.
  • Maintain records and prepare reports to evaluate performance of training activities, and to monitor progress of trainees.
  • Document interactions and report findings to leadership.
  • Cross train with Training and Development Supervisors to serve as backup as needed.

Position Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

     

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Standard computer / technology skills needed.
  • Minimum 2 years of security experience, customer service, or hospitality experience required.
  • Must be reliable, accountable, punctual and have a strong work ethic.
  • Strong verbal / communication skills.
  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus! 

     

  • Additional experience in scheduling, payroll, and training is preferred. 
  • Strong planning, organizing, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, achieve results, and meet deadlines.
  • All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas’ pre-employment screen process, including drug screen and background investigation.
