UW Medicine has an outstanding opportunity for a Finance Operations and UWP Provider Incentive Program Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Finance Operations and UWP Provider Incentive Program Manager has oversight of the semi-annual and quarterly incentives for 4,000 UW Physicians (UWP) faculty practitioners. This position will champion process improvements and risk mitigation for various workstreams within the Finance departments. This position will streamline key workstreams including but not limited to payroll, budget, management reporting, and tax-related activities.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate across teams and entities to support the identification of opportunities for automation and process enhancements to improve efficiency. 
  • Assist in eliminating manual bottlenecks and streamline financial workflows
  • Build, maintain, and optimize automated financial models/workbooks
  • Optimize workflow by mapping end-to-end processes and identifying areas to reduce manual data entry and reconciliation time
  • Design dynamic financial dashboards to share with multiple stakeholders across UWP, Clinical Departments, UW Medicine and Some senior leadership
  • Oversee training of automated tools and standardized operating procedures
  • Assist in identifying and implementing best practices in financial data analysis and report production
  • Participate in current financial operations and data analytics and offer recommendations for process improvements.
  • Act as the lead Finance Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Business Analyst liaison

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 5 years of progressively complex and comprehensive financial acounting experience with strong background in analyzing and preparing financial reports.
  • 3+ years supervisory or lead experience.      
  • Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling and manipulating large data sets
  • Proven track record of analyzing data, synthesizing results and presenting complex information with recommendations in a digestible manner
  • Intellectually curious with a passion for digging into the details
  • Ability to quickly develop relationships and partnerships at all levels of the organization

Desired:

  • Experience working in a complex organization
  • Experience working in an academic healthcare environment preferred
