Description

We are looking for a year-round, Full-Time Fitness Supervisor for the following shifts: 5:30 am to 1:30 pm Monday Through Friday and must be available to work outside these scheduled hours as needed.

Job Summary:

The Fitness supervisor is responsible for service to members and guests in the Fitness Center and lower-level pool area while keeping all work areas clean, orderly, and safe. They greet members and guests in a friendly and courteous manner while checking them in, cleaning and organizing all areas in and around the Fitness Center and pool area and ensure safe workouts for members. The Fitness Attendant communicates in a clear and professional manner information that assists the members and guests working out.

· Fitness Attendants

Direct Reports To:

· Pool and Fitness Coordinator and The Director of Recreation

Education, Experience, and Requirements:

· At least 1 year of customer service or fitness/gym experience is preferred.

· Available to work weekday mornings, and weekend shifts as needed.

· Understand fitness, working out, and light machine maintenance.

· Conducts themselves in a commendable, responsible, and professional manner at all times and encourages other team members to do the same to reflect the intended image of the Club throughout the Community.

· Demonstrate effective interpersonal relations skills, strong and proactive communications, and efficient delivery and gathering of information through numerous mediums such as orally, in writing, and electronically to other team members.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

Greet and log all members and guests.
Consistently clean and stock the restrooms, fitness, and pool area.
Communicate with Director of Club Engagement for maintenance and supply needs.
Maintain fitness and pool area, (ex: spraying, blowing off pool deck, vacuuming lobby and fitness room)
Ensure that all safety precautions are followed by members.\
Answering questions
Answer fitness phone

Licenses and Special Requirements

· CPR/First Aid Certification

Physical Demands and Work Environment

· Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.

· Must be able to stoop, kneel, and crouch.

· Push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

· Continuous repetitive motions and physical actions.

· This position requires use of close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

· Ability to communicate verbally, orally, and electronically.

· Able to work in a moderate noise level work environment.
