We believe every dog deserves to strut out of a bath and/or grooming looking and feeling like a star - and we’re building a bath + grooming experience that puts both pups, bathers and groomers first.

Bowie Barker is a new modern kind of bath + grooming shop: sleek, modern, app-enabled for smooth booking, and membership options available for additional savings. Whether pet parents want to self-wash or leave it to our pros, we make grooming convenient, low-stress, and full of tail wags. The menu includes customized services to meet every dog's needs and extra attention to what we know our furry friends want.

We are opening soon in Seattle, WA (Greenwood) and looking for talented, experienced groomers to join our founding team and be part of growing this new and exciting brand.

Compensation and Perks:

· Groomers have a starting wage of $25 - 29 / hour + generous gratuity (may vary based on skills and experience)

· Paid Sick Time Off

· Tool maintenance reimbursement (tool sharpening, replacement, etc.)

What You’ll Do:

· Provide full grooming services from start to finish. These services include: cutting, clipping, shaving, trimming, bathing, brushing, drying, grinding, and clipping nails, and gland expression.

· Groom multiple dogs per day while keeping stress low for both you and the pups

· Communicate with pet parents to ensure expectations are met

· Keep your station clean and calm - always

· Communicate with pet parents to understand and meet their grooming goals

· Create a calm, efficient grooming experience - we aim for 6–10 dogs per day

· Help maintain a clean, welcoming environment for all guests (two- and four-legged)

You’re a Great Fit if You:

· Have 1+ year of grooming experience and confidence in your skills

· Bring a calm, gentle approach to handling all breeds and sizes

· Love dogs (obviously), but also enjoy being part of a respectful, fast-paced team

· Thrive in a respectful, upbeat, and dog-loving environment

· Groomers: Own your own tools i.e.: clippers, blades, scissors, brushes, combs; however, we provide grooming tool reimbursement

· Must be able to stand for long hours; you DO NOT need to lift 50lbs - our grooming baths have walk up ramps, grooming tables have hydraulic and electric adjustable platforms

· Available weekend days (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
