Main Job Responsibilities
- Provides excellent, professional customer service
- Wraps and displays all fresh cut meat and seafood products
- Ensures accurate weighing and labeling of all fresh cut, prepackaged and frozen meat and seafood products
- Displays and rotates products according to PCC standards
- Maintains proper signage, pricing and labeling
- Demonstrates good organizational skills
- Ensures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
- Assists meat department coordinator and meat department staff as needed
- May place orders as directed
- Handling equipment including hand wrapping station, automatic wrapping station, pricing and labeling scales

Qualifications and Skills
- Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service
- Able to identify cuts of meat, fish and poultry
- Previous experience in meat wrapping and handling preferred but willing to train
- Demonstrates good organizational skills
- Basic reading and math skills in order to understand and follow recipes
- Must have initiative and be dependable
- Must be available to work a variety of shifts including weekends
- Must be able to meet physical demands including constant walking, squatting, standing, bending, twisting, reaching over-and-under, repetitive motion and lifting up to 60lbs. regularly
- A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
