Position Responsibilities:

Design and develop decision support systems for automated catalog management and change request handling. Architect knowledge infrastructure that integrates ontologies, knowledge bases, taxonomies, and classification systems to enable intelligent workflow automation. Build structured knowledge repositories and semantic frameworks that support automated decision-making processes. Develop classification logic and queries using AI techniques including Knowledge Representation and Reasoning. Serve as technical bridge between domain experts (Ontology/Taxonomy teams) and Software Engineering teams, translating business requirements into implementable system architectures. Apply knowledge graph platform development and support full-stack software engineering to design end-to-end solutions. Create and maintain product catalog structures, classification hierarchies, and metadata schemas. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including machine learning engineers to implement scalable knowledge management and decision support solutions across global systems.

Position Requirements:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Library Science, Information Systems, Linguistics, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have five years of experience in the following skills: (1) experience in data retrieval and data research techniques; (2) creating and communicating technical requirements to engineering teams; (3) experience with generative AI (creating prompts); (4) experience with Semantic Web technologies (RDF/s and OWL), query languages (SPARQL), and validation and reasoning standards (SHACL and SPIN); and (5) experience with open-source and commercial ontology engineering editors (Protege, TopQuadrant products, and PoolParty).
