RN / Registered Nurse / UW Medicine Transfer Center (Per Diem, Days)

UW Medicine Transfer Center has an outstanding opportunity for Registered Nurse.

WORK SCHEDULE

Per Diem, Days.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

Every day and around the clock, the UW Medicine Transfer Center works with physicians and transport staff to facilitate rapid and safe transfers of patients with emergent or urgent illness or injury from healthcare facilities in the WWAMI region (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho) into UW Medicine Facilities.

Located at UW Medicine office at Boeing Field, with a hybrid opportunity for partial work in office, and partial from home.

 

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinating with referring hospitals to safely transfer patients into UW Medicine facilities.

Coordinating with UW Medicine providers to transfer patients between UW Medicine facilities.

Coordinating with outside hospitals to transfer patients out of UW Medicine facilities.

REQUIREMENTS

 Current WA State (or applicable multistate) RN License.

· Minimum two years professional RN work experience including emergency, ICU, acute care, and/or outpatient nursing.

· Additionally, triage experience is desirable.

$45.59 hourly

Pay Range Maximum:

$84.47 hourly

Other Compensation:

$1/hour BSN premium $1.25/hour nursing specialty certification premium $4/hour week-ends
