This role plays a vital part in supporting the practice of pharmacy by assisting pharmacists and ensuring safe, efficient, and high‑quality patient care. The Pharmacy Technician performs delegated tasks—including drug distribution, compounding, record keeping, and clerical functions—under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. This position helps maintain smooth pharmacy operations and supports exceptional service for patients and healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the overall practice of pharmacy under the supervision of a registered pharmacist
- Perform delegated tasks to assist in daily pharmacy operations
- Carry out drug distribution activities accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and compound medications following established procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain detailed and compliant record‑keeping documentation
- Complete various clerical tasks to support workflow and pharmacy organization

Required Qualifications:Â
- Completion of an approved pharmacy technician training program
- Upon hire: Washington Pharmacy Technician License
Preferred Qualifications:Â
- 2 years of Specialty Pharmacy experience
