Ā

Everything we do centers around people. That means we obsess over how to make the lives of our customers, and their customers, better. And it means we prioritize a diverse F5 community where each individual can thrive.

The MissionĀ

We are building anĀ AI-native enterprise, and high-fidelity data is the substrate.Ā

We are looking for a technically fluent Product Manager to architect and scale anĀ AI-Ready Data Quality PlatformĀ built onĀ DatabricksĀ andĀ Unity Catalog.Ā

This is not a traditional MDM or stewardship role.Ā

You will define and ship the platform capabilities that make ourĀ AI Data FabricĀ trustworthy, observable, and production-grade — from real-time anomaly detection to CI/CD-native schema enforcement to automated data contract validation.Ā

If you think of data quality as code, treat governance as infrastructure, and believe AI systems are only as good as the data feeding them — this role is for you.Ā

Ā

WhatĀ You’llĀ OwnĀ

Build the AI-Ready Data Quality PlatformĀ

  • Define and ship native data quality capabilities insideĀ Databricks LakehouseĀ

  • Productize policies and controls withinĀ Unity CatalogĀ (lineage, access, schema enforcement)Ā

  • Embed data contracts and validation logic directly into pipelinesĀ

  • Partner with data engineering to integrateĀ dbt-based transformation layers into quality frameworksĀ

  • Drive metadata, lineage, and semantic standardization as first-class platform featuresĀ

Ā

Operationalize Data Quality in the AI Data FabricĀ

  • Design real-time anomaly detection systems (statistical + ML-driven)Ā

  • Build upstream schema validation into CI/CD workflows (shift-left quality)Ā

  • Define SLOs/SLAs for data productsĀ

  • Enable automated drift detection for training and inference datasetsĀ

  • Implement observability across streaming and batch architecturesĀ

You will treat data quality like SRE treats uptime.Ā

Ā

Drive Data Ownership as a Product DisciplineĀ

  • Establish aĀ data product ownership modelĀ across service teamsĀ

  • Define what ā€œproduction-grade dataā€ means for AI use casesĀ

  • Build self-service tooling for teams toĀ monitorĀ and certify their dataĀ

  • Incentivize measurable quality accountability at the domain levelĀ

This role transforms culture by building the platform that enforces it.Ā

Ā

AI + Governance ConvergenceĀ

  • Define how governed datasets become AI-ready assetsĀ

  • Enable traceability from raw source → curated feature sets → model inputsĀ

  • Align catalog metadata with AI feature stores and inference pipelinesĀ

  • Partner with ML teams to support model reproducibility and dataset versioningĀ

Ā

What You BringĀ

  • 5+ years in Product Management for Data Platforms, Analytics, or AI InfrastructureĀ

  • Deep working knowledge of:Ā

  • Databricks Lakehouse architectureĀ

  • Unity Catalog governance constructsĀ

  • dbtĀ transformation workflowsĀ

  • CI/CD patterns for data pipelinesĀ

  • Data observability and monitoring patternsĀ

  • Strong SQL fluency and comfort reading Python/Scala data pipeline codeĀ

  • Experience defining data contracts and schema evolution strategiesĀ

  • Understanding of streaming frameworks (Kafka, Spark Structured Streaming, etc.)Ā

  • Experience supporting AI/ML workloads in production environmentsĀ

Bonus:Ā

  • Experience with modern data observability platforms (Monte Carlo, Bigeye, etc.)Ā

  • Familiarity with feature stores and model lifecycle toolingĀ

  • Knowledge of domain-oriented data meshĀ architecturesĀ

Ā Ā How We Measure SuccessĀ

  • % of AI datasets certified as ā€œproduction-gradeā€Ā

  • Reduction in downstream model failures due to data issuesĀ

  • Automated anomaly detection coverage across critical pipelinesĀ

  • Adoption of data ownership model across service domainsĀ

  • CI/CD-integrated data validation coverageĀ

Ā

Why This Role MattersĀ

AI systems amplify whatever data they are fed.Ā

This role ensures:Ā

  • We trust our data.Ā

  • Our models are reproducible.Ā

  • Governance is automated.Ā

  • Quality is engineered, not inspected.Ā

YouĀ won’tĀ be managing spreadsheets of bad records.Ā

You will be building the infrastructure that makes AIĀ reliable atĀ scale.Ā
