Amazon is seeking an experienced Product Manager to own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Finance ERP capabilities that power Amazon's global Accounting and Finance operations. This leader will work backwards from Accounting, Controllership, and Finance customers to determine what to build, prioritize investments, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines strong product judgment with deep Finance ERP domain expertise across General Ledger, Consolidation, Record-to-Report, subledgers, intercompany, and leading ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA or Oracle ERP. This role partners closely with Accounting, Finance, FinTech, Engineering, and Internal Controls to translate complex accounting needs into scalable ERP solutions.


Key job responsibilities
•Own the end-to-end Finance ERP product vision, strategy, and roadmap across Accounting domains and adjacent solution stacks.
•Work backwards from Accounting, Controllership, and Finance customers to identify needs, develop use cases, and prioritize capabilities across General Ledger, Consolidation, and related processes.
• Define business and product requirements and partner with technology teams to design, build, integrate, and deliver scalable ERP capabilities.
• Lead Proof of Concepts and solution assessments to validate that proposed ERP capabilities meet business, controllership, scalability, and performance requirements.
• Represent the customer throughout the delivery lifecycle, including integration testing, UAT, deployment, and hypercare; validate solutions against Accounting requirements and drive readiness decisions.
• Apply deep Finance and Accounting process knowledge across areas such as General Ledger, receivables, payables, assets, project accounting, cost accounting, consolidation.
• Own controllership, compliance, and auditability outcomes and ensure these requirements are incorporated into ERP product priorities and solution design.
• Drive product strategy and phasing for large-scale ERP modernization, process standardization, General Ledger transformation, and migration from legacy platforms.
• Drive alignment across Accounting, Finance, Engineering, and other stakeholders, navigating ambiguity and making clear prioritization and tradeoff decisions.
• Communicate product direction, business cases, metrics, risks, and tradeoffs effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership.

A day in the life
A Product Manager on this team leads large-scale Accounting transformation by setting the direction for Amazon's Finance ERP capabilities. They work directly with Accounting and Controllership customers to identify problems, shape future-state solutions, prioritize the roadmap, validate capabilities through POCs and testing, and partner with Engineering to deliver solutions that improve scalability, controllership, and operational efficiency.

Accounting Transformation Group drives initiatives that modernize accounting processes, improve controllership, and enable scalable growth across Amazon. The team operates at the intersection of Accounting, Finance, process design, and technology to build scalable financial capabilities and support new business models. Basic Qualifications: - 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with leading Finance ERP platforms, such as SAP S/4HANA or Oracle ERP, supporting Accounting processes including General Ledger, consolidation, and Record-to-Report.
- Experience across the ERP delivery lifecycle, including requirements, solution design, testing, UAT, deployment, and post-launch support. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience communicating product strategy, business cases, status, and tradeoffs to senior stakeholders.
- Experience leading large-scale Accounting or Finance ERP modernization, migration, or process transformation initiatives in a global organization.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
