Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Threat Assessment in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations requiring attention. You will support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with store leadership and public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, policy violations, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, documenting observations, patrols, and response actions in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience using handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
