We’re looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant to join our fun, diverse, and collaborative team on a project-based assignment! You’ll support core corporate accounting functions for Beecher’s, Sugar Mountain Livestock, and our family of restaurants. This role is expected to run for 18–24 months while our team navigates an exciting ERP transformation. We want someone who’s extremely curious, analytical, and data-driven, never afraid to roll up their sleeves and dive into the details. This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity where you’ll help solve challenges, uncover opportunities, and drive our continued growth.

 

We are committed to a hybrid model with a combination of working from home and in the office schedule.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead period and year-end closing processes, ensuring all transactions and journal entries are timely and accurately recorded.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, complete and review sign-offs, and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports; assist with compliance schedules and requirements.
  • Review AP invoices, process checks, and coordinate with the AR team for deposit handling.
  • Implement and update SOPs; identify and support process improvement initiatives and internal controls.
  • Maintain, document, and train on accounting policies and procedures in accordance with US GAAP; support accounting system upgrades and related projects.
  • Assist with audits by compiling schedules and providing necessary support.
  • Contribute to budgets, forecasts, and performance metric reporting.
  • Jump in wherever needed. “Other duties as assigned” is just another way of saying, “We trust you to help us get it done.”

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field).
  • 3–5 years of corporate accounting and financial reporting experience; cost/inventory/manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Supervisory or team development experience a plus.
  • Proficient in Excel and experienced with ERP systems (Microsoft Business Central and Great Plains preferred).
  • Background in food manufacturing, restaurant, or retail industries a bonus.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, support strategic projects, and manage multi-entity operations.
  • Excellent collaborator with proven experience partnering across teams, vendors, and customers.

 

Compensation & Benefits
The starting salary range for this position is between $85,000 to $105,000 per year, plus an annual bonus plan. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
