Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

The Boeing Company seeks an experienced Senior Business Intelligence Analyst in our North Charleston, SC; Berkely, MO; Everett, WA; or Seattle, WA location to join the Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) Integration Management Office (IMO) team.

The Business Intelligence Analyst will build a digital information system that manages the flow of program performance against various Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). The successful candidate will develop effective partnerships with team members, partners, leaders, and peers. They will simultaneously lead multiple data projects while partnering with internal customers to support a One Boeing approach.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Create data visualizations from complex data sets using tools such as R-Shiny and Tableau

  • Develop and maintain API integrations between internal and external systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity

  • Connect multiple data sources from Azure DevOps, integrated schedules, PLM systems, and more

  • Build new data sources as applicable for connecting a digital thread of authoritative project/program data

  • Create online BI applications used across the organization—from agile teams through senior VP leadership

  • Develop user-friendly front-end applications using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Python, and JavaScript

  • Partner with BI developers in adjacent organizations, including an India-based team


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in business analytics

  • 5+ years of experience working with databases

  • 5+ years of experience with database design, data modeling, or object modeling

  • 3+ years of experience with Business Intelligence/data analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, dashboards, Tableau, etc.)

  • Experience with SQL and Power Query

  • Ability to travel up to 25%


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or a related field

  • Experience of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) languages such as Python

  • Familiarity with using the .NET framework

  • 3+ years of experience collaborating with senior leaders within the program team

  • 1+ years of experience with Agile, Scaled Agile Framework, or related frameworks

  • 1+ years of experience working in a software development environment

  • 1+ years of experience telling stories via data visualizations
