Job Summary

The SR HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting the human resources department with support and administrative tasks of day-to-day operations. The SR HR Coordinator must maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity to ensure employee confidence and protection of the integrity of human resources operations and information.

 

Essential Functions

  • Establish and maintain positive, customer service focused relationships demonstrating professionalism and integrity
  • Maintain required Employee Files (electronic) according to all applicable laws ensuring proper records retention
  • Manage all HR Departmental Mail and distrusted as needed
  • Assist with 401(k) census report and verify match numbers against DayForce
  • Initiate and assist payroll timesheet reminders, audits, and adjustments as needed
  • Assist and ensure timecards are accurate with approved PTO, missed punches, on call, etc. before closing each payroll
  • Partner with HR Team to keep HR Resources current and updated within Dayforce
  • Utilize DocuSign to rollout documents and acquire employee signatures
  • Assist with preparation of open enrollment
  • Assist with preparation of payroll and off-cycle payrolls by creating electronic payroll prep as needed
  • Schedule meetings, team events and interviews as request by HR Team
  • Perform various administrative tasks like mailings, printing, electronic form creation, etc.
  • Complete all employment verifications including salary information ensuring proper release forms signed
  • Perform Dayforce administration support as needed
  • Assist in or develop various employee benefit communications
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of enrollments, life status changes, terminations, and/or beneficiary information in Dayforce and Benefit Platforms
  • Maintain and retain employee benefit files and plan documents ensuring preservation and accessibility of historical records
  • Coordinate annual compliance testing, audits and filings with auditors, consultants and internal partners

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education

 

EXPERIENCe REQUIRED

  • 3+ years of direct experience
  • 1+ years of direct HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems) working knowledge

 

Required Knowledge

  • Proficient working knowledge of general HR standards and practices

 

Skills and AbilitY

  • Professional level of confidentiality in handling employee information
  • Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Zoom, DocuSign, etc)
  • Ability to learn and be proficient in HRIS system (Dayforce)
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and utilize resources to execute tasks within a deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to speak, write and understand English
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Work Environment

  • This is a standard office environment with standard office noise like talking, office equipment, etc.

 

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee must frequently sit and use a computer for long periods of time.  Specific vision abilities are required to do this job including close vision. The employee must sometimes lift and/or move items up to 10 pounds.
