Job Description

The person in this role leads large, complex programs that span multiple teams and functions. They work at the enterprise level and often report progress directly to senior leaders.

The role is hands-on. It is not just coordination. The person is expected to dig into technical details, guide decisions, and remove blockers so teams can move fast.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end delivery for large, cross-functional technical programs
  • Partner with engineering, product, and business leaders to set program strategy and roadmaps
  • Lead teams through the full project lifecycle: planning, build, testing, launch, and support
  • Influence senior leaders and drive decisions, even without direct authority over the teams involved
  • Spot and manage risk across programs before it becomes a problem
  • Use data and metrics to guide decisions and report progress to leadership
  • Mentor other TPMs and program managers
  • Drive process improvements across program governance and delivery

What you need

  • 10+ years of experience in technical program management or a closely related field
  • A strong record of leading complex, multi-team programs from start to finish
  • Experience influencing senior leaders and driving alignment across teams with different priorities
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences
  • Comfort with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities
  • A technical background strong enough to engage in architecture and design discussions

Nice to have

  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, or a similarly fast-paced industry
  • Experience with agile delivery methods and tools
  • A background in the specific technical domain of the team (for example: platform, data, supply chain, or customer experience)
