VCA Crown Hill is a multi-doctor progressive general practice located in Seattle, WA. We offer a full range of veterinary services including surgery, digital radiography and ultrasound.

We are seeking a Hospital Manager to join our team. This key leadership role requires someone with strong interpersonal and organizational skills who can help us continue delivering exceptional patient care and outstanding client service.

About the Role

Under the guidance of the Field Leadership team and in partnership with the Medical Director, the Hospital Manager plays a critical role in the daily operations of the hospital. This includes supporting the team, overseeing business functions, and ensuring a culture of excellence in both medical care and client service.

You’ll be responsible for mentoring and developing hospital staff, managing operations and facility maintenance, supporting business growth and profitability, and helping to build a collaborative, respectful, and compassionate workplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the veterinary, technical, and client service teams in achieving hospital goals
  • Foster a strong hospital culture focused on quality care and client satisfaction
  • Partner with the Medical Director to develop and implement operational goals and hospital policies
  • Manage hiring, performance reviews, and team development, with support from Regional leadership
  • Monitor hospital finances, budgeting, and KPIs to ensure long-term success
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations
  • Help maintain a positive and engaging work environment for all team members

Qualifications

  • Five plus years of experience managing teams and overseeing business operations (budgeting, KPIs, staffing)
  • Proven ability to hire, coach, and develop high-performing teams
  • Familiar with marketing, client engagement, and driving business growth
  • Strong communicator—clear, empathetic, and confident across all levels
  • Skilled at juggling priorities in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
  • Passionate about people, pets, and building a positive workplace culture

Pay Range & Benefits
