School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) | Shoreline, WA | 2026–2027 School Year | Part Time

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time, school-based position in Shoreline, Washington, starting as soon as possible. This position will support an elementary caseload parttime.

Job Highlights:

  • Position: School Speech-Language Pathologist

  • Setting: In-person, school-based position

  • Student Population: Elementary school students

  • Pay: Up to $73 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments

  • Provide individualized and small-group speech and language therapy

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Create measurable goals based on students’ individual communication needs

  • Provide developmentally appropriate services to elementary-aged students

  • Support students with articulation, speech, language, social communication, fluency, voice, and augmentative communication needs

  • Track student progress and maintain accurate service documentation

  • Prepare evaluation reports, progress reports, and other required records

  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team planning

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers

  • Provide communication strategies and consultation to classroom staff and families

  • Ensure services comply with state, federal, and district requirements

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

  • Valid Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain one

  • Valid Washington Educational Staff Associate certificate or eligibility to obtain one

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred

  • Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply

  • Must have current fingerprints on file with OSPI or be willing to complete the fingerprinting process

  • Must provide at least two supervisory references

  • Experience with elementary students or school-based services preferred

  • Strong assessment, communication, documentation, organization, and collaboration skills
