What this job involves:Ā 

Join JLL's dynamic Capital Markets team as a Debt Analyst, whereĀ you'llĀ play an integral role in the placement of debt and equity for commercial real estate transactions across diverse property types and markets. This position offers comprehensive exposure to every phase of the transaction lifecycle, fromĀ initialĀ underwriting and market research to closing and client relationship management. Working in a high-energy, collaborative environment,Ā you'llĀ develop sophisticated financial modeling skills while creating compelling offering memorandums that drive successful capital placements. This role provides exceptional learning and growth opportunities within JLL's industry-leading capital markets platform, allowing you to buildĀ expertiseĀ in commercial real estate finance while contributing to transactions that shape communities and drive client success.Ā 

What your day-to-day will look like:Ā 

• Create comprehensive debt and equity offering memorandums incorporating detailed market research, sophisticated financial modeling, and compelling executive summaries for diverse commercial real estate transactionsĀ Ā 

• Develop and execute complex financial modelsĀ utilizingĀ market data and JLL resources to ensureĀ accurateĀ underwriting across various property types and transaction structuresĀ Ā 

• Manage due diligence processes efficiently while driving marketing and closing activities, coordinating with multiple stakeholders throughout each transaction lifecycleĀ Ā 

• MaintainĀ consistent communication with Producers, market participants, and clients, providing regular updates andĀ facilitatingĀ smooth transaction progressionĀ Ā 

• Analyze marketing feedback and provide strategic recommendations to help clientsĀ optimizeĀ their business plans and capital structures for maximum market appealĀ Ā 

• DemonstrateĀ technicalĀ proficiencyĀ with databases toĀ identifyĀ relevant market data for trend analysis and preparation of client presentations and pitch materialsĀ Ā 

• Review and interpret complex real estate documentation including leases, loan documents, and appraisals toĀ identifyĀ potential issues andĀ provideĀ strategic guidanceĀ 

Required Qualifications:Ā 

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience)Ā Ā 

• 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis environment, with mortgage banking or commercial real estate industry experience strongly preferredĀ Ā 

• Intermediate to advancedĀ proficiencyĀ with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial modeling, along with Outlook and WordĀ Ā 

• Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing, and communication abilities withĀ demonstratedĀ client-facing capabilitiesĀ Ā 

• Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendationsĀ Ā 

• Self-motivated withĀ strong teamĀ orientation and excellent time management skills to manage multiple concurrent deadlines effectivelyĀ Ā 

• DemonstratedĀ ability to communicate analytical and marketing data effectively in written format for various stakeholder audiencesĀ 

Preferred Qualifications:Ā 

• Experience with Argus Enterprise or other commercial real estate financial modeling softwareĀ Ā 

• Database management experience and advanced data analysis capabilitiesĀ Ā 

• PreviousĀ exposure to commercial real estate transactions, underwriting, or capital markets activitiesĀ Ā 

• Knowledge of commercial real estate property types, market fundamentals, and financing structuresĀ Ā 

• Experience in client relationship management or business development activitiesĀ Ā 

• Familiarity with real estate legal documentation and due diligence processesĀ Ā 

• Active participation in real estate trade organizations or professional networking groupsĀ

Estimated compensation for this position:

78,000.00 – 88,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
