Candidates must be available for 1 to 3 evenings a week or on a Saturday during the sport season, with typical work hours ranging from 3;00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Exact shift frequency, days, and times will vary based on the specific sport you are hired to assist with.  Specific Responsibilities: Provides customer service, direct leadership, and general supervision of score table Assists athletic staff with game day set-up and take-down Provides Scorekeeping and Clock operation for games in the Pumadome Maintains and operates the proper use of equipment and supplies Enforces facility and equipment rules Is familiar with and complies with all policies and regulations as put forth in the school’s documents Since safety and security are everyone’s responsibility, takes all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, faculty, staff, equipment, materials and facilities Performs other duties as assigned Compensation: Employees are paid the last working day of each month Employees are paid at a rate of $25.00 per hour  QualificationsRequired Education, Training and Experience: High School diploma or GED required Must possess or be willing to obtain valid First Aid/CPR card  Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be dependable General knowledge of the sport you will be working Ability to operate scorebook Ability to follow written and oral instructions Professional manner, discretion, and appearance Sense of humor, energy and enthusiasm and ability to hold students and oneself to high expectations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent customer service skills and strong work ethic Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds Ability to work and communicate well with all levels of faculty and staff Ability to work and communicate well with students and their parents Ability to maintain confidential information Proficient in appropriate computer skills and office equipment Ability to stand for long periods Awareness of proper body mechanics to prevent injury Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, walk, and talk Ability to use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work outside in any weather Some local travel may be required  Position open until filled.
