If so, we want you to join our little family at Lasting Impressions! Lasting Impressions is seeking compassionate and dependable PRN Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team! As a PRN DSP, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities, assisting them in living independently and achieving their personal goals.

 This full-time PRN position would be cross trained in several homes to fill scheduled absences and last minute call ins. The schedule for this position will vary week to week. We primarily are in need of evenings (3-11pm) and weekend (varies) availability.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Building Relationships: Spend quality time with our residents, getting to know them and their unique stories.
• Personal Care: Assist with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming – always with dignity and respect
• Supportive Presence: Be there for emotional support, whether it’s sharing a laugh or offering a comforting hug.
• Encouraging Independence: Help residents with their goals, big or small, and celebrate their achievements. This includes daily living activities such as personal care, household chores, and cooking. 
• Creating Joy: Plan and participate in fun activities that bring joy and excitement to our home.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of services provided to ensure all team members are up to date on care given.

Minimum Requirements:

• A heart full of compassion and kindness
• A desire to make a difference
• Experience is great, but we believe in potential and the power of a positive attitude
• Must be 18 years of age or older, have a High School Diploma or GED, be able to successfully pass a background check, and have a driver's license and reliable transportation with insurance. This position requires the transportation of clients. 
• Must be able to pick up hours on short notice
• Availability for evening and/or weekend shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in direct care, healthcare, or a related field is a plus but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for making a difference in the lives of others
