The EHR Clinical Systems Trainer is a key member of the organization who focuses on training employees to utilize their skills at the top of their licensure and/or degree. This position will be responsible for all aspects of new-hire training related to electronic documentation and work with all departments to identify continuing education needs. Management of on-going requirements of the EHR application is critical, as is ensuring effective end-user support. This position will be responsible for master clinical applications and optimizing the applications for specific workflows. The EHR Clinical Systems Trainer will also be a key member of the Training Program and work directly with other training staff, Nurse Educator, Lead Dental Assistant, Lead LPN, Lead PSR, Dental Clinic Coordinator, and PH/QI Director. The EHR Clinical Systems Trainer position requires the ability to adapt to change as needed. The EHR Clinical Systems Trainer must possess and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of and skill in areas of healthcare applications, technology and/or evidence by experience in providing classroom and/or on-site training in health information systems.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Possess high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess licensed practical nurse license, or have medical/dental assisting experience
• At least 3 years of direct experience with an Electronic Health Record platform
