As a Laundry Supervisor at Los Abrigados Resort and Spa in Sedona, AZ you will be responsible for carrying out your position's responsibilities and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

What Will I be doing?

• Supervise and evaluate the performance, needs, and quality of work of Laundry Attendants.
• Wash, dry, sort, press, and fold linens, terry, and other fabrics in accordance with property standards.
• Inspect linens and terry products to ensure quality standards are met and identify damaged or unusable items. 
• Treat stained fabrics and remove damaged items from circulation following established discard and bio-hazard procedures. 
• Track, document, and report all linen and terry discards in accordance with property policy. 
• Maintain and assist with operational reports, including production poundage, discards, and bio-hazard documentation.
• Monitor laundry supply inventory and requisition tools, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Clean, wax, and maintain laundry equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
• Complete all required checklists and training documentation related to equipment (i.e., washers, dryers, steam presses, and folders). 
• Review and adhere to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemicals, ensuring compliance with safety requirements. 
• Identify and report safety concerns or incidents to management promptly.
• Work flexible hours, including swing shifts, weekends, and public holidays, as business needs require.

• Completes all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
• Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:
•    Laundry operations, including fabric care, stain treatment, and proper handling of linens and terry products. 
•    Safe use of commercial laundry equipment and associated operational procedures. 
•    Chemical handling and workplace safety practices, including SDS compliance. 
•    Inventory control and basic operational reporting. 
•    Supervisory and team leadership skills, including the ability to evaluate performance and provide guidance. 
•    Attention to detail in inspecting linens, completing reports, and maintaining documentation. 
•    Organizational skills to manage supplies, equipment maintenance, and daily workflow. 
•    Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and management. 
•    Bilingual English & Spanish is preferred
•    Ability to perform physical tasks associated with laundry operations, including handling equipment and materials. 
•    Ability to follow detailed policies, procedures, and safety requirements consistently. 
•    Ability to work a flexible schedule, including varying shifts, weekends, and holidays. 
•    Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability for team and operational outcomes.
