Basic Function: Maintain uniform room stock and facilitate the issuing and collection of employee uniforms while ensuring uniform room procedures are followed. 

Work Performed:

  1. Issue uniforms to new and existing staff; receive uniforms for existing and terminated staff.
  2. Complete inventories and related reporting.
  3. Accurately input data into Lightspeed.
  4. Complete and receive purchase orders for uniforms items.
  5. Ensure that each uniform agreement is completed properly before distributing uniforms.
  6. Keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly.
  7. Repair uniforms as necessary.
  8. Report any uniform concerns to the Housekeeping Manager.
  9. Work with Housekeeping Manager to ensure par levels of uniforms are maintained
  10. Other duties as assigned.

Supervision Received: Housekeeping Managers, Director of Housekeeping

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or GED, and/or equivalent work experience.  Must have basic computer skills. Attention to detail and able to multi-task many priorities. Basic knowledge of inventory systems and administrative functions. Self-motivated, ability to work with little supervision and organized. Must be dependable. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals. Prefer some basic English skills. Ability to mend and alter garments highly preferred. Highly organized and able to maintain a tidy workspace. Safety sensitive position.

35% walking and standing 

60% sitting

5% climbing a stepladder

Lifting/Carrying up to 30 lbs.

Distance vision 1-3 feet

Hearing and Manual dexterity

Use of cleaning solutions

Ability to drive golf cart on occasion as necessary
