Warehouse Person

Objectives of the position include:

- provide a systematic program on inventory control, material handling and preparation of documentation.

- to ensure that an adequate supply of material is on hand to meet the construction, maintenance and operation work plans.

- to maintain adequate inventory levels for operations and ensure that materials are moved through the system in a cost-effective manner.

High school diploma or equivalent and one-year warehousing experience. Prefer candidate with advanced training in electrical principles and experience working with the general public.

Candidate must:

- be able read, write and communicate effectively.

- be able to follow verbal and written instructions.

- be able to understand and perform basic math functions.

- be able to operate fork lift and line truck.

- have working knowledge of REA-approved materials and ability to convert construction assemblies to materials.

- be able to operate two-way radio, tablet device and computer.

- be able to lift up to 125 pounds.

- be able to acquire and maintain valid NC commercial driver license.

- must live within 30 miles of 298 Blue Ridge Road Lake Toxaway NC 28747

Position work on-call rotation and is subject to call-in during major outages or emergencies and is expected to report to work during periods of inclement weather.
