SUMMARY OF JOB:
Perform duties in cleaning, preparing, and servicing guestrooms and baths for occupancy, as well as public areas and offices, where applicable.
 QUALIFICATIONS:
On-the-job training for two weeks should be sufficient. A willingness to follow procedures, complete tasks in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner, maintain proper attendance and comply with company policies.
 PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Â
Long periods of standing, stooping, stretching, bending, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Â Able to withstand certain amounts of hot and cold temperatures when required to work outdoors.
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and prepare guestrooms for occupancy using department-specified cleaning procedures.
- Stock, and/or maintain carts with specified products in required quantities to adequately clean rooms.
- Clean all rooms in section; check on rooms vacant from the previous night.
- Maintain security for guests and property by keeping room doors locked at all times; report any suspicious activity by guests or others; properly label lost and found articles and turn them in.
- Keep section keys on person at all times.
- Present a well-groomed, professional appearance, including adhering to uniform regulations; practice good personal hygiene at all times.
- Observe all safety rules; employ safe work practices when performing job; use personal protective equipment as needed; maintain safe, organized, and sanitary working environment.
- Attend meetings as scheduled for training and informational purposes.
- Report property maintenance, equipment problems to Engineering for repair.
- Extend hospitality and courtesy to guests and other employees.
- Responsive to guest inquiries, concerns, complaints in a friendly, courteous, helpful manner.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
