Job DetailsJob Location: Archie Hendricks Sr. Skilled Nursing Facility - Sells, AZ 85634GENERAL PURPOSE:  Assists the Activity Director in providing activities for all residents, Assist new residents and their families in their transition to the skilled nursing facility by welcoming them and answering questions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: In addition to performing Essential Functions, this position may be required to perform a Combination of supportive functions based upon the requirements of the organization. Receive list of new admits daily, visit and welcome new residents and their families. Assist with transporting residents on a regular basis. Represent Archie Hendricks Facility at Health Fairs and other public relations events as requested. Lead Activities program on a regularly scheduled basis as assigned by the Activities Coordinator. Give tours of the facility. Attend CPR Training Assist with other duties as needed. All staff is required to follow all safety regulations and precautions at all times. Staff must ensure that their Department is maintained in a clean and safe manner by assuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are maintained. Report all hazardous conditions/equipment to immediate Coordinator. Report all accidents/incidents to immediate supervisor/manager within 24hrs. All staff must wear protective clothing and equipment when handling infectious waste and or blood/body fluids or when doing Hazardous work i.e. working with chemicals, electrical or day to day maintenance repairs. All Staff are required to participate in the O’odham-Centered Care - Managers/Supervisors will help staff in assisting in participating in Person Centered Care. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS/BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three to six months related experience and/or training; Or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPR Certification preferred or must be obtained within (3) three months of hire.
