Position Overview- Pay is based on experience!

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to support operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment to ensure efficient production.

This is a hands-on position working with specialized machinery used in the production of high-performance glass products. Candidates must be comfortable working in an environment with heavy materials and sharp glass.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on industrial machinery
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment
  • Diagnose issues with PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar preferred)
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals
  • Support mechanical maintenance tasks as needed
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards
  • Minimize downtime by responding quickly to equipment issues

Qualifications

  • Experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Working knowledge of PLC troubleshooting preferred
  • Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, and move heavy materials
  • Comfortable working around sharp and heavy glass products
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
