Northwest Mississippi Community College seeks a full-time, 10-month instructor for the Industrial Electronics Engineering Technology program located on the Senatobia Campus. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful work experience within the last five (5) years in:Â

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
- Ensure all requirements of college and industry partners are metÂ
- Maintain professionalism with students, coworkers, and community membersÂ
- Provide engaging classroom instruction using varied teaching methodsÂ
- Prepare lesson plans, job sheets, and laboratory demonstrationsÂ
- Recommend curriculum updates to maintain program relevanceÂ
- Monitor student progress throughout the programÂ
- Collaborate with instructors and support staffÂ
- Participate in professional development activitiesÂ
- Maintain compliance with professional licensing requirementsÂ
- Teach course material according to syllabus and employer expectationsÂ
- Prepare and grade examinations and assignments in a timely mannerÂ
- Implement outcomes assessment and maintain student satisfaction standardsÂ
- Encourage student retention and engagementÂ
- Begin and end classes on schedule with full instructional periodsÂ
- Maintain attendance, grades, and required records accuratelyÂ
- Submit reports required by the College, Mississippi Community College Board, and employer partnersÂ
- Attend faculty meetings, in-service meetings, and college eventsÂ
- Participate in campus and community extracurricular activitiesÂ
- Supervise laboratory experiencesÂ
- Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environmentÂ
- Maintain inventory of assigned equipment and toolsÂ
- Maintain an active advisory committee with at least two meetings annuallyÂ
- Visit industry partners to maintain employer relationships and monitor internshipsÂ
- Advise and counsel studentsÂ
- Assist students with employment placementÂ
