Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Community Habilitation
Mozaic (A Chapter of Arc NY) is looking for compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Community Habilitation Direct Support Professionals. In this rewarding role, you'll help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities become more connected, confident, and independent in their daily lives. You'll work one-on-one in the community, supporting meaningful skill development such as cooking, managing finances, attending appointments, and maintaining a safe and organized home environment.
Community Habilitation goes beyond daily support-it's about creating opportunities for people to explore their interests, build relationships, and experience all their community has to offer. From visiting local attractions like zoos, museums, and theaters to enjoying movies, parks, and other recreational activities, you'll play a key role in helping individuals engage socially and live fulfilling lives. Pay Rate: $16.75-$18.50 per hour + based on experience!
Location: Seneca Falls, New York
Direct Support Professional (DSP) Schedule:
Tuesday - Saturday, between hours 11am - 6pm, or 12pm - 7pm
35 Hours per Week
Hours are flexible for mornings and evenings
Direct Support Professional (DSP) Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimally, one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services or a related field is required.
A Valid Driver's License is required.
