We are seeking a Territory Sales Representative for our brands, Montezuma, Swedish Hill, and Either Oar wineries and distilleries.
The ideal candidate will oversee the company’s sales and distribution in a particular region for the Martin Family wineries and distilleries portfolio. They will ensure that operations run smoothly and that targets and revenue goals are met. This candidate will build relationships with customers throughout a territory and generate new leads for the business. If you’re self-motivated, like working independently, and enjoy being part of a dynamic team, this is the job for you.


Essential Job Functions:
Manage all aspects of the Sales Representative:
  • Establish and manage sales account relationships in the assigned territory
  • Service existing accounts, host tastings, secure orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call existing or potential customers
  • Navigate Diver for sales reports and projections 
  • Price file, and ensure accuracy with SLA
  • Identify and pursue new customer acquisition
  • Conduct cold calls for potential leads
  • Communicate with established leads within the territory and develop rapport
  • Work festivals and in-store tastings in your territory on occasion
  • Communicate with the principal every week

Qualifications: 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to hit sales quotas
  • Must be able to obtain and hold an NYS solicitor’s permit
  • A clean NYS driver’s license is required
  • Required  dependable vehicle with proof of liability insurance 
  • Must be able to lift 45+ pounds 

Education/Experience:
  • Associate’s degree in business/marketing, sales, or related field 
  • 4+ years of experience in a related field 

Work Schedule:
This position will require you to work long, flexible hours on days, nights, and weekends
