JOB RELATIONSHIPS:
Responsible to: Facilities DirectorÂ
Responsible for: Does not supervise other employees
Interrelationships: Works cooperatively with all hospital departments
JOB SUMMARY:
Â
Performs a variety of tasks to maintain the cleanliness and preserve the appearance and condition of all floors throughout the facility.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Â
Experience: Previous experience with floor care equipment is preferred.
Education: High school or equivalent preferred but eight grade accepted.
Req. Cert./
Registrations: Current Kansas driver’s license
JOB DUTIES:Â (This list may not include all of the duties assigned.)
- Dry mops floors.
- Operate floor scrubber.
- Shower scrubs and strips floors.
- Waxes floors.
- Buffs floors.
- Vacuums carpet.
- Cleans carpet.
- Assist in cleaning of emergency spills that are observed or requested.
- Checks and cleans floor equipment.
- Attends meetings as required.
- May be assigned to do any or all of the extra job tasks as listed for
  EVS Technician (job description can be reviewed)
- Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
