The Staff Pharmacist at Fuze Health plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, accurate, and compliant delivery of pharmaceutical services. Reporting to the Pharmacist in Charge, this individual contributor will support the daily operations of the pharmacy, oversee pharmacy technicians and delivery personnel, and uphold the highest standards of patient care and regulatory compliance within the respective FuzeRx location.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Oversight & Support:Â Assist in managing pharmacy technicians and delivery personnel to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to workflow standards.
Prescription Review & Verification:Â Perform prescription verification, drug utilization reviews, and patient consultations to ensure accurate dispensing and appropriate medication use.
Regulatory Compliance:Â Maintain proper documentation, safeguard legend drugs, and ensure pharmacy operations comply with all state and federal regulations.
Service Coordination:Â Coordinate the provision of pharmaceutical services and delivery of medications to patients, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
Patient Confidentiality:Â Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient profiles, prescription records, and sensitive health information.
Quality Assurance Participation:Â Contribute to pharmacy quality assurance programs to drive continuous improvement in service delivery and compliance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Â Partner with internal teams to support operational goals, clinical initiatives, and patient care improvements.
Operational Excellence:Â Support the daily functioning of the pharmacy through diligent record-keeping, medication management, and leadership in workflow optimization.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
Active, clear, and unrestricted Pharmacist license in your state of residence.
Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the applicable Board of Pharmacy.
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy experience, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting.
Ability to work for extended periods at a computer workstation, as needed.
Proven organizational and leadership skills to manage pharmacy operations effectively.
Strong commitment to patient-centered care and high ethical standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Physical Job Requirements
Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods, move frequently around the pharmacy, stoop, bend, reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions to operate a computer and other pharmacy equipment, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move objects up to 50 pounds. The role also requires the ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions.
