SeaView’s Adult Mental Health Residential Treatment Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Tech, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with mental health challenges to recover and lead successful lives.
Position: Behavioral Health Tech (1) Full-time
Compensation Package:
- Hourly Rate: $18-20 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Provide empathetic and non-judgmental support to individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders
- Facilitate group discussions and support sessions
- Assist clients in setting goals and creating individualized plans
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment
- Promote a safe and supportive community within residential and housing programs
- Encourage clients to engage in healthy recreational and social activities
- Assist in crisis intervention, as needed
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Driver's License
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude
- Reliable and punctual
