Sonic Summary

The job requires a candidate to work closely with Die Maintenance to address and improve die-related issues.
Responsibilities include supporting the Engineering group with design challenges and identifying the root causes of mis-hits in collaboration with the Die Maintenance and Press Departments.
The candidate will also investigate and resolve issues related to mis-hits and die crashes, while organizing Excel reports to assess costs associated with these incidents.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in Die Maintenance within the automotive field is required for this position.
Proficiency in novice to intermediate Oracle, Microsoft Office Suite, and AutoCAD is also necessary.

Responsibilities include: Work in cooperation with Die Maintenance to improve current die related issues. Support Engineering group with design issues. Identify root cause of Mis-hits in cooperation with Die Maintenance and Press Departments. Investigate and resolve issues with Mis-hits and die crashes. Organize reports in Excel to identify cost involved with Mis-hits and crashed dies. Attend daily meetings to report on progress in all areas mentioned. Other duties as necessary.

Qualifications

5+ years experience Die Maintenance in automotive field.

Novice to intermediate Oracle, Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD skills
