Vermeer All Roads in Seymour, CT is searching for an experienced Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to join our team. Put your skills to work repairing Vermeer machinery and components in a timely manner. Depending on your level of expertise, you may work under direct supervision while building your skills and advancing your career.

Compensation & Schedule
- Hourly pay: $25–$38 (based on experience)
- Production bonuses available
- Full-time schedule with flexibility – no nights or weekends

Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and recondition Vermeer equipment as directed by the Service Manager
- Diagnose malfunctions in hydraulics, electrical, and hydrostatic systems
- Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
- Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed
- Stay current with industry trends and technical advancements
- Communicate with the factory for technical support
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience with hydraulics, hydrostatics, and electrical troubleshooting
- Welding experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
