The HR Manager is responsible for leading our Human Resources department and partnering with leaders across the company to support our employees and business goals. This role oversees all areas of HR, including recruiting, employee relations, compliance, performance management, and team development. We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to help wherever needed.

WHAT WILL I DO?

As the HR Manager, you will:

  • Develop and lead HR strategies that support the company's goals and help our teams succeed.
  • Coach and support managers on hiring, employee development, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Lead recruiting efforts, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Build strong working relationships with employees and leaders across the organization.
  • Advance an open-door environment where employees feel comfortable bringing forward questions or concerns.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and ethical conduct.
  • Help resolve employee issues and manage conflict in a fair, consistent manner.
  • Lead and develop the HR team while helping improve HR programs and processes.
  • Prioritize multiple projects and adapt as business needs change.
  • Use HR systems and technology to support day-to-day operations and reporting.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience, including experience leading an HR team.
  • Experience developing HR strategies and achieving results through your team.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Experience recruiting, selecting, and developing employees and leaders.
  • Ability to build relationships and effectively coach leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently.
  • Comfortable learning and using HR technology.
  • A willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using isolved.
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
