Job DetailsJob Location: Fort Leonard Wood, MO 65473Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $31.97 HourlySUMMARY The Maintenance Mechanic in the HVAC Shop performs a variety of duties involving the maintenance, preventative maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC systems.    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Will be assigned a variety of functions (HVAC Maintenance & Repair). Will perform a variety of functions. Must have extensive knowledge of industrial heating and cooling systems, boilers and pumps . Must have electrical troubleshooting knowledge. Installation of a variety of equipment. Repair of a variety of equipment. Maintenance of a variety of equipment. Ensure quality work performance. Ensure Project initiatives. Employees are required to drive company vehicles on a Federal Installation. Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of four years’ related experience and/or formal vocational/technical training. Requires LP Gas certification within 6 months of hire. Must maintain a valid driver’s license. COMMUNICATION SKILLS Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, managers and staff members.  PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
