Position Description:Â
Pay range: $90,000-$100,000Reporting to the Mixing Center General Manager, the Operations Manager oversees the overall operation of the mixing center to include tracking of all incoming containers/trailers, accurate inventory receiving, staging, and efficient/proper distribution of tires, wheels, and accessories to designated Distribution Centers while decreasing freight exposure through effective scheduling and Supply Chain communications. He/she leads operations supervisors who ensure accuracy of physical inventory and complete deliveries for Distribution Centers when staging and delivering shipment orders in a timely and accurate manner. Monitors recruitment and Ignite onboarding; leads daily meetings with staff to address issues, improve efficiencies, safety awareness, and to issue corrective action as required. Ensures compliance with all Company guidelines, policies and federal and state regulations; develops and leads talent to support ATD's operating platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with operations supervisors and administration to plan and execute warehousing activities that meet daily production goals.
- Demonstrate leadership that engages and empowers associates to own their performance, grow their careers and contribute to the company mission and vision
- Design and implement work methods and procedures to increase productivity and enhance service levels for internal and external customers.
- Ensure complete carrier deliveries for all Distribution Centers, maintaining inventory integrity below 2% absolute variances.
- Facility Maintenance and Management: Manage the maintenance of the RDC facility, including product handling equipment and inventory warehousing control systems, to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Lead a team of professionals, ensuring goal alignment, development, coaching, and performance tracking.
- Lead Area Managers in onboarding processes, provide ongoing training, and conduct performance evaluations. Address performance concerns and implement disciplinary actions as needed, in consultation with Human Resources.
- Lead daily and weekly meetings with staff to identify operational issues, improve efficiencies, and ensure clear communication of work tasks and expectations. Conduct weekly huddles to align teams and reinforce deliverables.
- Manage and provide leadership to Area Managers responsible for loading/unloading trailers, organizing labor, and ensuring accurate physical inventory.
- Promote a safe work environment by establishing effective training programs and enforcing safety protocols in compliance with OSHA, DOT, ADA, and Company policies. Monitor team members to ensure safe operation of equipment within the RDC.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree Bachelors. 7 years of related experience including management experience preferred
