SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNING MANAGER
The Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the integrated business planning (IBP) process and collaborating with functional leaders to manage the monthly planning cadence in support of business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Supply Chain Planning Manager will ensure that sales forecast performance, sourcing and inventory strategies, and operational capacity are harmonized to achieve business growth, earnings, and service-level objectives. This role is responsible for working with all functions to manage the monthly IBP process and ensure a high level of supply-chain resilience in the face of changing global trade and commodity price risk inherent in the coffee business. Â
Strategic Leadership: Develop and lead the monthly planning process to ensure accurate forecasting and demand planning and aligned sourcing, production, inventory, and supply strategies and plans. Lead the transition from S&OP to IBP, creating a true end-to-end integrated planning process. Develop and maintain the integrated business plan and lead monthly IBP meetings with key stakeholders from functional teams and executive leadership.Â
Demand Planning: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to develop accurate demand forecasts for both e-commerce and brick and mortar channels, utilizing data analytics to predict market trends and customer needs. Support new product launches with strong ramp up/down plans.Â
Green Coffee and Component Sourcing: Collaborate with green coffee and component sourcing teams to develop consumption, supply, and inbound logistics plans in support of business objectives.
Production and Finished Goods Logistics Planning: Partner with production and logistics leadership to develop aligned production and finished goods inventory plans.
Performance Management: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain activities such as forecast accuracy, fill rate performance, inventory valuation and turnover, excess and obsolete inventory, and production schedule adherence.Â
Continuous Improvement: Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective and preventative actions. Lead development of new processes and tools to enable the above, including inventory segmentation and portfolio optimization.
Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure business continuity through proactive planning and contingency measures.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor planning analysts and function leaders in demand and supply management. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.Â
Partner with Nutresa colleagues to drive continuous improvement of IBP processes and planning tools and systems.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, economics, or related field; master's degree preferred
Experience: 5-7 years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, operations or financial management, with a proven track record of success; leadership experience a plus
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Comprehensive understanding of ERP, MRP, WMS, and other supply chain planning tools; working knowledge of MS Excel and Power BI
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a solid working knowledge of MS PowerPoint
Robust facilitation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Works effectively with executive stakeholders while maintaining clarity and accountability
Certifications: APICS CPIM, CSCP, or similar certifications are a plus
Preferred Qualification: Leadership experience; master’s degree in business, supply chain or related fieldÂ
COMPENSATION
$120,000 – $130,000 Annual Salary + Bonus Eligible
Up to 4% company match for 401K after 6 months of employment
