As we navigate a period of expansion and strategic initiatives, we are seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team and contribute to the company's success. Summary:  The primary role of the Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator is to safely and efficiently move, load, unload, and stage material throughout the warehouse while ensuring every movement is accurately and promptly recorded as a transaction in the ERP system. Primary Responsibilities: The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following: Safely operates a forklift and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move pallets, raw materials, and finished goods Picks, stages, and stacks orders for shipping, ensuring product is placed in the correct location per warehouse slotting Processes all shipping, receiving, and inventory movements as accurate, real-time transactions in the ERP system, ensuring quantities, locations, and lot/batch data match physical activity Reconciles bills of lading, packing slips, and purchase orders against ERP records, identifying and correcting discrepancies before transactions are closed Reports any shortages, damaged goods, or discrepancies immediately and documents them accurately for record-keeping purposes Performs cycle counts and physical inventory of finished goods, packaging materials, and ingredients, adjusting ERP records as needed Performs daily pre-shift forklift inspections and reports any equipment issues to maintenance Maintains a clean, organized, and safe warehouse in accordance with plant SOP's QualificationsQualifications: To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements: One to two years prior experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment Must be forklift certified (or able to obtain certification) and able to safely operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or reach-truck equipment Experience entering and processing transactions in an ERP or warehouse management system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) preferred Basic computer skills with attention to accurate data entry Should have a valid driver’s license Able to withstand extreme temperature changes from cold to dry warehouses Flexible work schedule to cover any shift on an occasional basis Must be able to lift 50 pounds, stoop and/or climb as needed and stand for extended periods of time.
