Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dump Truck Driver to support our construction operations. This role involves hauling aggregates, gravel, asphalt, and other materials to and from job sites, pits, and plants across Maine.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate dump trucks on public roads and active construction sites
  • Transport materials (gravel, sand, loam, asphalt, etc.) efficiently and on schedule
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Maintain accurate load tickets and logs
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, foremen, and plant personnel
  • Follow all DOT and company safety regulations

Qualifications

  • Valid CDL Class A or B license (clean driving record preferred)
  • Experience operating dump trucks in construction environments
  • Knowledge of local pits, plants, and roadways is a plus
  • Ability to work long hours during peak construction season
  • Strong work ethic and team-first attitude

Preferred Experience

  • Hauling for earthwork or utility crews
  • Operating in tight or active job site conditions
  • Winter driving / year-round operations
